Somatic movement is a safe, gentle and highly efficient practice appropriate for any fitness level. It is effective for reducing the physical effects of day-to-day work and can ease symptoms from past injuries and chronic tension. Each class we will include restorative yoga poses to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and encourage further muscle and fascia release throughout the body.
Join me every two weeks for a relaxing 90 minute class of gentle somatic movement, restorative yoga, and sound healing to help stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system. Classes start September 16.

It is designed to guide you gently into fully embracing your body, experiencing your emotions, expanding your breath, and unlocking forgotten areas of the body. In this series we will explore the 5 Elements: Water, Earth, Fire, Air and Ether through free-form dance.
