Dance As Medicine (DAM), developed by Milèna May, is a powerful, joyful and transformative practice of conscious movement. With conscious movement we can re-pattern the brain, regulate the nervous system and reset stuck patterns in the muscles through functional movement. DAM is designed to guide you gently into fully embracing your body, experiencing your emotions, expanding your breath, and unlocking forgotten areas of the body. With DAM, we work not with tension, but with density. What moves well, what doesn't? This is an ongoing practice of play, curiosity, and discovering what is waiting to be unwound and discovered in ourselves. No dance experience required. Learn more here.
